I finally made it to the nine pound club (almost 10! )

Weighed it on a state certified scale in lewis county. Caught it in Lake-X on a Sniper Lures hand poured bait. \:D

Nice fish! I'm really suprised that nobody has bashed you about not holding it over the water for the picture or some other lame whining a** reason to be jealous.

Thanks I am surprised too! but I have let many many bass go over the years besides a 5 1/2 pound smallmouth I mounted. I am mounting this one too. I never liked fiberglass reproductions, there too easy too fake. Next one will have to be at least 10/5 to mount.

Sure no problem.

Would you believe I caught a 9 pound 8 ounce bass today! This fish was also weighed on a certified scale. Picture coming soon. I also bought a lottery ticket just in case!

Hello Stace, Ill try to call you friday. I just got back from another succesful trip! This fish did not have a tag. Tippings missed one. Amazing!

I did not clean either fish because one is at the taxidermist shop and the other is on the way. I will ask if he can let me know though. It might be awhile since I am not supposed to get my first fish back for six months.

So you kept another bigun!!! And it was even smaller than your first. In your post you said you wernt gonna keep another one unless it was 10 1/2lbs. Hmmm maybe you can get a 9.6lber next week to add to the mantle too. But I will give ya this it is a nice fish.

Kinda sorry for keeping the second one.
I didnt think it would happen so soon! but if you Knew more about the lakes history and what possibly may happen to it soon you may understand more about why I kept the second one too. Plus I am having them both mounted together on a killer piece of driftwood I already picked out, and hopefully I can get sponsa to build me a glass coffee table to put them in.
