Refreshing to read that Cantwell actually does something, something positive no less.

Dave, I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see you quoting the wise words of Dan S. In your signature line. Plato and the others are so overrated hello

"The Corps of Engineers is a very efficient and effective engineering and management agency that is more than capable of making decisions regarding permitting without being second guessed by an agency that has no real interest in resource or infrastructure development, projects in Alaska have been shut down or delayed time and time again by the EPA.... These types of projects are important to the safe development of our natural resources and should not be bogged down in politics." Young, at that time said that the bill was to streamline the permitting process by "removing a level of bureaucracy."

Oh yeah leave the Corp in charge of protecting salmon...Good God

Maybe Cantwell is getting a belated start on her next campaign. I do believe she's up for election next time 'round.

Are you now pronouncing the P in Corps to show respect for the Teleprompter in Chief?

+1

It's nice to see a DSMF'r in a pants suit do something.....anything.....constructive. I'm behind her, metaphorically speaking, 100%.

I might rightly be labeled as one of those bleeding-heart lefties, but I have never been one of Senator Cantrell's biggest fans. Nonetheless, I am glad to see she's finally stepping up to the plate to do the right thing.

RVW

What is it about pantsuits that makes the cons grind their teeth? Is it okay if Sarah wears one, how about Hillary? Just wondering. Never did understand that one.

I think conservative philosophy is fundamentally opposed to women in pants. Possibly one good thing about conservative philosophy? hehe

Nothing's wrong with a pants suit Dave.....you look fabulous in anything you wear.
