you ever get small ones... like 2-3"? My bro has a few aquariums that we've put a few bass in, but now we're looking for small perch/bluegill...

I quit commenting pictures since they started out holding the fish out in front of their bodies to make it look bigger. But I have one question about the guy holding that fish. Do you ever take that jacket off? And where are the cutts slashes that belong under the jaw.

the red slashes are under the jaw but the are faint and cannot be seen in this picture, there are also teeth on the tongue. This is a hybrid trout , that why I call it a cutt-bow. as for what rockfish is refering too, it is the broken rod tip

Old mad I do take my pocket off , but it is handy when I am fishing to have it on as everything I need is in the front pouch Its like my survival kit .

Micro,
are you talking about the Port Orchard Long Lake?? I live just a couple minutes from it (off Mullenix) and never knew there were Perch in that lake. Thought it was just Bass and trout. From what I hear about it I don't think I would eat anything out of it, but if it has perch, might be a good place to take the kids.

umrules,

I am just up from the boat ramp a little ways.

Its the long lake in port orchard. Its loaded with perch now. they hit strike kings rocket shad real good. somebody stalked them in here abou 8 years ago and now they are good eating size with plenty to catch. The average seems to be 7 to 11 inches, smaller if your bait fishing.

You might want to be careful about taking sport fish from the wild for aquariums or ponds as I've been told its illegal. I know of a few places that sell them if anyone is interested (even trout).
