Just thought I'd let you know that drift fishing for silvers in local rivers has been very productive. My partner and I kept 5 on Saturday. Biggest was 12.4 that my partner caught and I worked the "numbers" side with 2 9lbers, 1 8lber and a 5lber.

Next weekend I'm headed to a river that's more suited to fly fishing and am throwing the fly rod in for that trip. Heard of a flyfisherman who caught one around 20 lbs this last weekend. I bet that was a handful (or two).

Luhr Jensen has a very tasty brine for silvers and the gang at work has been extremely sympathetic with my fall from fly rod grace. Must be the smoked salmon.

Zin or Zen, I see that the Darkside has taken over, I think there is a treatment facility for this problem you have, Now if Rush Limbo can go to treatment I think you can also. walk towards the light Zen . You can come back but you have to want too.

Talk to me next July after I come back from taking my fly rod to Neah Bay. I think some of those open water silvers might be what I need to start me back on the road to recovery.

Now beach fishing for Coho with Krill flies at Campbell river......that would be atonement for most any transgression into the underworld.

Uhhhh... FishnfellaS... this might be a step below what you envision.... it was corkies and yarn and a full up 8 1/2 foot casting rod...

one more thing. I will have my 7 wt with me this weekend and will be casting egg flies for silvers in a local river. Understand a guy caught one close to 20 pounds fishing that way last weekend.

It got my attention.

Maybe I can slowly work my way back to fly rod grace....
