If you had been paying attention, or if your sieve-like memory were any better, you'd know that all the proceeds from the bets go to the C.A.S.T. For Kids Foundation.
Here's how it worked the last time we got any bets going: I was the loser of the bets. I tallied them up, doubled the amount and sent the money to Todd. Todd used that money (and put more of his own in there) for rvrfstr stuff that he donated to C.A.S.T. They in turn raffled it off for even more money for "the children".
Got it? I think that's about as gentlemanly as you can get, so how much do you think you can afford?

I will neither pack your lunch nor piggy-back you to your seat so I guess any bets are off. Wise move on your part.  Game of the week on Sunday is Niners-Loins . 5-0 vs 4-1 and the odds have dropped from an opening Loins -6 to -4. Lots of people must have stepped up to take the Niners +6 to drive it down. Loins have a beastly D line to make Alex(andra)'s life miserable. The Niners O line didn't give up a sack last week but they're suspect. Part of the reason for the zero sacks was the three-step drop Alex(andra) was using. Loins gave up plenty of yards to Forte rushing outside so expect the Niners to try that out to see if it fits. Aldon Smith had two sacks last week and he's becoming a beast of a pass-rusher. Look for him to have another good game. Willis got Defensive Player of the Week for his 18 tackles and fumble recovery and the Niners probably have the best (with Bowman) two ILB's in fooitball right now. Jahvid Best will be a non-factor in the game. Make Megatron a non-factor too and the Niners pull this one off...maybe.

That kid looked like a focused jake locker sunday and is going to tear it up this season...... For about 3 weeks. Eventually he has to read a defense and make a few throws, then it is over. Tebow and Locker would both struggle to hit water with a football standing in a boat in the middle of the Sound. Denver isn't very good and Tebow will be out with a concussion by the 4th week. Running QB's and the new concussion rules don't mix well.

Somehow, I think the Titans staff probably has a better read on Locker's abilities than some bitter Cooger fan does.

I watched the Lions deftly move Urlacher and scorch the Bears secondary the other night. Now the Lions were really pumped up for MNF but I think they win this game by 10, 31-21. SF has a chance because Alex Smith leads the league in throwing 6.5 yard passes. They just dink and dunk you to death and Gore has had a couple nice games recently. The Lions are starting to remind me of the Rams with Kurt Warner. They can explode on you in a hurry.
