Stacie have to ask this question. Why do the lakes down in that area get so many plants and nothing else get squat? I probably asked this question before but as I'm getting on in years I seem to forget alot of things. But

Good question. I can't answer to why the other areas don't get fish, but I can tell you how we do.

Clark PUD funds the Vancouver Hatchery which raises some of the best and biggest fish in the whole state.

We also use net pens to raise fish which frees up room in our hatcheries to raise more fish in general.

I really don't know the situations in other regions so I just can't answer for what may or may not be happening outside of Reg. 5.

Regarding Swofford - I am working with the Utilities on ways to fix the vegetation problem in the pond. It will get planted and hopefully we'll be able to deal with the excess vegetation as well.
