I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I could haul my 8 1/2 ft cartopper (hewescraft) with my camper on. I saw a guy on I 5 a few years back with his cartopper tied to the back of the camper somehow but didn't get a good look at how he did it.
I have sled that I haul around on a trailer but it would be nice to be able to go camping and be able to bring the little boat without having to invest in another boat trailer.
I have looked at cabelas and bass pro shops at some of the hitch racks and thought It might be a place to start but wondering how to saftley secure the boat to the rack and camper?
Any Ideas would be appreciated

you may be able to fit it inside the door to your camper. Saw one guy do that years ago.

You might be able to put a hitch hauler in your trailer hitch and add some type of tie down to the top/side of your camper. Another option for an 8 ft boat is lengthwise attached to the bumper of the camper and jacks on the side. I'm assuming you mean a slide in camper.

If you don't already have something to tie to on the top of the camper, you probably will want to check with the manufacturer to make sure you don't pull your camper a part with the pressure.

Thanks for the replys
Thinking about a hitch rack and tiedowns from the jacks. If I go sideways the boat will cover my tail lights so upright and against the back.
The camper I,m afraid is too old for a roof rack and the cartopper is to big with the fold down seats I put on to fit in the door.

I put on the top of camper and used 3 intertubs to cushion the boat and the top and tied it down with ropes. beer
