I have been fly fishing for 1 year now and I realize that I bought a really pathetic rod and reel combo. I read the Frugal Fishermans article on what rod to get so I was going to look at a W.W. Griggs does anyone know of a place that carries these rods in western Washington?

I think Sportco in Fife carries them. They also have a newer fly fishing section kinda in teh back corner

same here, Outdoor Emporium. Very pleased, great price and it works well in this beginner's hands.

I own three Grigg rods and they have caught MANY fish. The warranty repair is great as well if you screw up. There are better rods out there, but for the money they work just right.

I have a WW Grigg fly rod that I just love. The only down side is the guides on mine were only varnished, not epoxied, so the wraps wore out quickly. I am a rod builder so I rewrapped the guides, and now love the rod, even though I only paid $35 for it.
