My buddy and i took the queefer (my boat) out to silver lake before baseball practice to get a couple triploids for the bbq that night. We ended up with only two, both caught on a wedding ring behind one of the new tiny fish flashes. I bought a few, to try because the larger ones work for salmon, why not trout with the tiny ones. Those things work awesome!!! Absolutely no drag at all and it's just you and the fish. We caught about 10 other smaller fish running 6-10 inches. Lots of fish in here now. The pics aren't much to brag about but it gives you an idea of the size of the trips. The first one is me and the other is my buddy.

I don't think I'd be eating any fish out of Silver Lake for awhile. A week or two ago a house near the lake had the sewer back up,and it dumped a bunch of raw sewage into the lake. \:\(

haha.......whoops. Oh well they tasted just fine, no signs of brown trout. But that is good to know for future reference. I probably would have been better off not knowing that but what the hey, its all good.
