Angle Lake has been producing fat 14-16" kokanee lately and should get better as time goes by.

Small dodger or popgear, snubber and red or green wedding ring with either worms pieces or maggots at 28 ft. Either on the downrigger or with 3 oz of lead trolled slow has been producing well. Because of their soft mouths we switched the single hook to a size 12 mini treble and we landed alot more than we lost.

Lots of small schools scattered around in the 40-50 foot rim of the lake which you can easily see on your depth finder.

Great fish for the smoker and great fighters!

Also the perch are very thick around 25-30ft.

I'll have to check out this Angle lake. \:\)

Thanks for the info on the Kokanee---my neighbor and I know about its "soft mouth parts" and have lost plenty of 'em due to a lack of righteous equipment (we'll snag the cutthroat trout with our gear, but we always know when the Kokanee go!) We'll try smaller hooks as your post mentioned. Thanks again!
