I have a friend whose mother is dying from cancer. She is coming up from california for a few days and she wants him to take her fishing at a local lake. Does anyone have any reports on lakes in snohomish or northern king county that could help him decide on where to go? ie. Ballinger, martha, silver, gissberg, etc...

Shoot me an e-mail if you want. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about your friend's mom. I haven't seen many local reports lately, except for lake Washington. Does your friend have a boat or is it shore fishing? Could be good perch fishing on Washington if you have a boat and can find the right depth.

He has no boat. Thats what causes the biggest issue. I am on the same page as you are mike, that lake washington perch fishery can be awesome. Any other ideas?

Well, for low stress there is always Green lake - fish from the pier and then treat her to lunch and a mocha. I think considering the circumstances it should be about being together time vrs hard core fishing.
