Hello everyone,

Well, it's spring break for us WWU students here in Whatcom County and I was hoping to get some cold weather camping and hopefully fishing in next week some time.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any low elevation hike in lakes (fly fishing only is fine) in the greater Whatcom/Skagit/Snohomish are.

Thanks for responses.
Matt

I found some info on Steelheader.net about 2 lakes I think might be intersting, Cedar and Pine lakes located near Bham both under 10 acres I think.

Anyone fished either of these?

Matt

I don't know either lake you mentioned. I would try www.vtrail.com as an excellent source for lakes to hike into. Good luck!

Thanks Mike, I enjoyed that site. found a few places to definately check out later this spring.

If anyone in interested, I got some really good information from www.westfly.com, the people over there seem to have pretty good knowledge about area lakes, streams and rivers.

Planning to head up and check out Pine and Cedar tomorrow, I will let you know how things look. Maybe snap a few pix if I can find some batteries too.

Matt
