WDFW Police is now on Facebook and launched a blog in an effort to better connect with those that they serve. Still in an evolutionary stage, the hope is to become more interactive with the outdoor community as well as provide important news, updates and accomplishments.

You folks and the fish checkers are the public face of the department. Appreciate this effort. Sgt. Lambert has been kind enough to speak at the Sky Valley TU a couple of years ago. I brought my box of jigs with the barbs pinched down just to make sure they met the regulations. He also helped me on finding for sure that a specific creek was open. That was before the WDFW closed all streams unless listed that filtered into waters that entered Puget Sound.
