Hailed about half an hour ago.
Chunky wet slop falling outta the sky outside my back window right now.... no where close to sticking.

Ah not to be a drag on the party but take a look at NOAA's 10 day bit! If you think the snow is interesting look at next week as it looks like a bad time down South and odds are the Chehalis blows wide open! http://www.nwrfc.noaa.gov/weather/10_day.cgi

Well that is the kicker. Look at the freezing level low / big storm and way up / then right back down on the deck fast. We almost always pick our snow up at the beginning of a front or ending with warm to cold being the ugly of ugly. ( like end of the week )
All BS aside next week should just plain suck!

Earlier today when it first started snowing.  Some of it stuck after a while. Had some clear skies and saw stars an hour ago, but it is getting cloudy again. It will be a good opportnity to see how the $1,000 Honda Civic handles in the snow with studded snow tires.
