Couple o' questions --

~Do they stock the big lake with any gamefish?

~What gamefish species are native (if any, other than migrating salmonids)?

~Is most of the fishing there for smallmouth bass?

~There are cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, and lake trout in Lake Washington -- urban myth?

Thanks!

I believe they do stock the lake with Rainbow fry and maybe some bigger ones like regular planter size...I have caught or am sure the following species are their: Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Bluegill, Walleye, Sturgeon, Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Rock Bass, Crawdads, I think Kokanee?, Squawfish, Carp, Brown Bullhead, Sculpins, I think thats all the main ones...Most of the fishing is for little guys like Perch I would think cause people love catching them with just a little piece of a worm right under a dock...But the bassing is good their too, I literally just caught a nice 4lb and 4oz Smallmouth still on its spawning bed....What a nice fish, right off my dock...I usually see a few bass boats out their early mornings, and even at 3:30pm on a sunny day their was one fishing my dock right as I caught my bass which I put back in for you guys to get...Hope this helps

Never heard the lake trout myth. If in any numbers I would think we'd have heard. They are prolific eaters of other fish and would do a lot of damage to smolts.

Yea I'm not sure about the Lake Trout...But its a possibility considering that it seems like anything and everything lives in Lake WA...
