I think it is well deserved for Cortez kennedy to be inducted into the hall of fame. Great player, fun to watch and a stand up guy.

Agreed. Nice to have another Seahawk in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Looking forward to the day when we finally have a Mariner in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

We do have Gaylord, but Junior should be the first lomg-term M inducted. To be followed by Big Unit and, eventually, Edgar.

Edgar was a great Mariner but I just don't see them inducting a strictly DH in to the hall of fame. There's just too many players with similar offensive numbers who were also good on the defensive side. That being said I would love to see Edgar in there.

If they aren't going to put Edgar in, who did play third for quite a while, then they need to exclude AL starting pitchers from consideration as they never batted. That makes the NL starters that much better.

DH's should not be eligible.

Then neither should AL starters. They're only playing half the game, too.

There will be a DH inducted into the HOF at some point. Might be Edgar, might not. It will happen because the National League is now the only league in all of baseball not using the DH. College uses it, the minors use it, the Japanese use it.

Personally, I don't like the DH; it's not baseball. But, if it is allowed, then a DH shouldn't be penalized.

Nice to finally see Tez get in.Next will be Big Walt #71.Sweet home Alabama #37 will not make it into the hall due to LT crushing his TD record the next year with 31.#37 held it for one year @ 28.He also doesn't have enough rushing yards to make up for LT passing him up with the TD record.Had #37 gone onto playing well for a couple three season's after the "HAWK'S" and ended up with 12k-13k rushing yards then yes he would be up for it some day.How could anyone not recognize #28 Curtis Martin great back with a long career.Good luck,
