Disdain? Let me see.....we have fishing shows on television, fishing magazines, fishing on You Tube and of course many fishing websites. If that guy doesn't realize that keeping a nate is detrimental to the species his IQ has to be equivalent to his waist size. There are NO MORE EXCUSES! As someone said above, legal is not the equivalent of ethical. No one can convince me this dude didn’t know how the majority of fishermen feel regarding the keeping of natives. If by some miracle he didn’t hopefully he does now. I hope that this will help him to understand. How difficult can it be for a fisherman to get it? I think that the guys on this site will agree that the feeling of letting a slab go is far greater than bonking the sh!t out of it. Seeing that pig swim away is a reward. You just got done fighting a fish that sent a rush through your body that is hard for someone who hasn’t caught one to understand. You know, the normal shaking, heavy breathing and holding the piss in your bladder until it’s caught. Then the rush of knowing you had the intelligence, the balls and the good will to let it go is beyond compare to me. I hope he sees the light.
