Can anyone tell me which end of the lake is better for duck hunting. I am looking in getting out next weekend in my 20'bass boat if I can get some details. I hear lots about stumps....

I can't tell you duck hunting but I can tell you about stumps - everywhere and many just below the surface. I have a jet pump so I was a little less concerned but if I had a prop boat I would sure go SLOW.

I tried it today. I would not recommend anyone to take their bassboat on kapowski unless you have someone that knows that lake well. Even taken it slow we hit a few times. I am going to invest in a small flat bottom boat with a jet. Its a good looking lake. The Game Warden was out checking everyone. Which I take as a positive. He said the tweakers have stolen the Metal Ramp plate now replaced. He mentioned not to leave your rig there to late at night.

Glad to hear no serious damage to your boat. A jet can be mighty handy at times. Regardless, it helps to have a spotter at the front of the boat.
