While there are always going to be a few jerks posting on any thread, we already have one "not allowed to ever say anything negative about anyone or anything except gillnets" board in the PNW, and this one most definitely is not it.
Fish on...

At least your handle is appropriate. My "long arm" comment means that you pushed the head of the fish toward the camera.......obviously you did.....and it wasn't a snide remark, "idiot". All I was saying is that when the fish is angled, the length/girth is hard to judge in the pic. Now go get a hug from your mama.

Wow thanks! Love all the snide remarks about the meat and the handling, you guys are great! And no, we cannot keep nates, the meat pic was from different fish, same river. Lifted it out of the water for 3 seconds to snap a pic. the long-arm shot makes a guess tough, but I'd be surprised if it is over 15 And seriously? Long arm? About as short arm as I can get, idiot. Just had a simple question about the size, which I thought would be enjoyable...but no. Never posting on here again. I knew I shouldn't have tried to join your "club." What a bunch of pretentious jerks. I don't enjoy snide-unconstructive remarks from some PP members either...they discourage good folks from sharing their fishing passion...but I stay here because there are plenty of great folks on here! Stick around!

18 caught at the I-5 bridge on the lower Columbia, 15 a month later at the mouth of the Snake, and 20 once it reaches Idaho, as moss and fungus is more dense then fatty meat. I would rather pose with a chrome one but I would rather eat one 500 miles from the ocean than a lower river or Willamette springer. Anyone who has not tasted the differance would never understand.

Well Neal, you'd be the one who'd know about being pasty and white . . . That's the spirit! Oh, and you forgot to mention, short.

Nice fish, regardless of the weight. I have many friends in Idaho, and that fish is what they would call, "Idaho Bright". Works for me. I am always amazed at the fight left in those fish after traveling all that way.
