For those who are interested in letting your state or federal legislators know about recreational fishery issues, the following link will let you find out who represents you in Olympia or Washington, DC.

I've sent a copy of the Times article to my state and federal legislators along with a request that they provide whatever support they can to ensure that the recreational salmon fishery is not impacted by the actions of the Makah Nation.

What article are you talking about and what day. What I do is when a article comes out that I have a opinion on I will write a letter to the editior to the paper so they can print it in the following days. If the article is something that makes you mad write to the paper and let the rest of the public know how you feel. I try to write a article once a month, our paper will only let you write one response a month but if enough people write how they feel the public will know that we care about what we read and get the rest of the readers to think about writing a article themselves.
