i'm surprised that no one has never created the avatar Bill Herzog to be honest.

Had the pleasure of fishing with Bill and Nick in Sol's sled one morning, and my stomach still hurts from laughing the ENTIRE time....really enjoy reading his blogs on NWWC, he is a gifted writer.

I always enjoyed the few encounters I had with Bill at Sportco. The guy has a really funny sense of humor plus a wealth of knowledge he is will to share with others.
The article he wrote about ants on the Nisqually in STS was one of the funniest fishing stories I've read.
Good luck to him wherever he lands.

Dave and Bill have had their rods standing vertical, side by side, for many years at Sportco. I prefer Dave's rod for is lightness in the hand and all day long ability to fish. However, I may need to snag Bill's rod for the bigger steel I encounter. Last upper teens fish I hooked had Dave's rod corked and the line passing under the rod, kinda unnerving.
