Loc: Tacoma Wa,
I'm looking for a lab pup. Can anyone help me out.
I don't want to get one out of the paper and
I don't want to spend big bucks on a show dog from a breeder.
I just want a healthy Dog.
Any help would be great. laugh

How much do you want to spend? Are you gonna hunt with the dog or just a family pet? If your gonna hunt the dog I would go to a good breeder and watch the parents work. There is something to be said for champion lines,no garantee on ability but more likely to get the dog your looking for. If your not gonna buy out of the paper I'd budget at least $400 for a male and $500 for a female.

Oh Yea, I got my current lab from a friend. His baby was allergic. I bought the dog from him at 14 wks. I can't remember where he got the dog,I think he said it was at Tiger Mt. labs in Ellensburg. She is a great hunter and could'nt be a better family dog. I'll try to get the breeder name from him and post later.

Loc: Tacoma Wa,
Thanks HBP
I'm looking to spend around four hundered or so.
This dog would be a family pet first and a hunting / fishing dog second.

Pretty much any flea bit hound could out hunt me.
I was planning on getting a smart dog that could teach me how to hunt. eek
Thanks

A co-worker of mine has a litter of Labs right now. I think he has a few left. Real nice family dogs as well as great hunters. Also they are great looking. I know his price is right in there where you are looking. He is located in Stanwood. His number is 360-629-5424 Ask for Randy.

Basser, check with Capt. Dan over on the other BB. He is an excellent source for info on who and when folks have pups available. I am told that he and his wife "rescue" labs and from time to time you can get one for the cost of shots and a little donation of dogfood. I believe this to be true and it would be a shame not to give it a "looksee" for a family on a budget and pups and hunters needing a good home. It's how I see it anyway. Good Luck.

Basser Contact me. This dog is not a puppy he is 18 months old but is a nice dog and is picking up training fast. He will be ready for the upcoming season and would be great for both waterfowl and upland a big lanky fellow with a huge head will really cover some ground. good nose and is not gun shy. Love to retrieve needs some basic obediance and socialization training. a little work on the house training 1 accident in the last month. will need to be neutered though.
No baggage though healthy.
Dan!
