Scared of Flynn?

While you were marveling over how well he played against Detroit, did you bother to look up how many times he's been sacked in the games he's played? He's not the best at avoiding the rush. The Fawks OL won't be able to keep him standing up long enough to make me worry about him.

The Fawks will put a good defense on the field and if they find a good LB or two, I have no doubt they'll be in the top 10. The thing you have to remember though is the Niners D is better. They already have the best MLB's in the league and now Aldon Smith will be playing all the snaps on the outside. I have no doubt they'll be in the top 5 overall and still #1 against the rush.

Aldon Smith sophmore slump he'll be better...book it. Davis will be getting more passes thrown his way because DBs are covering Randy, Mario and Crab and there's no LB (except Willis) that can cover him. Niner receivers will have the D's from other teams so spread out Gore will run wild. Alex isn't pissed (seriously) and he'll have a full training camp with the boyz...he'll be better too.

You may or may not have heard the Niners signed Josh Johnson from the buck-an-ears as a backup QB...he played for Harbaugh at USD. He had a senfukinsational senior season there...threw like 43 TDs with 1 INT. Of interest is Josh is from Oakland and he's Beasty's cousin...used to hand the ball off to him at Oakland Technical H.S.

So now we are bragging about who the 49er's signed as a 3d string QB? Well I guess while in the NFL he forgot all he learned at USD or at least his TD to INT ratio would lead one to believe that.

You also probably didn't hear they signed Rock Cartwright to replace Costanzo on special teams either. He'll be a backup RB too.

If I was still the Fawks Director of Strategery, I'd give Fleener more than a look in the draft. He's Graham and Gronkowski size and he ran a 4.45 40 at Stanford Pro Day yesterday...that's faster than Gronk. Great hands and he was Luck's go-to guy.

hank you guys had an awesome season last year and yea you beat the hawks 2-0 but before last year your next winning season was in 2002, other than that we have your number when it comes to nfc west champs in the last decade. Seahawks, Cards, and niners and rams tie for 2 wins. we wont go back any further cuz i begin to lose my argument as the hawks were horrible in the 90's

We have to put it all behind us now and look to the records since Petey-Rah-Rah and Hairball became coaches of our teams.

I won't be bringing up what a schitbag team the Fawks were in the '90s or the Niners being lost in the desert c. 2002-2010. I won't even bring up the 5 (count 'em, 5) Super Bowl wins the Niners have as opposed to the Fawks zilcho-mcnuthins in that venue (smirk).

Henceforth we'll be talking about the upcoming season and how the Niners are going to plow the Fawks into the turf each and every time they meet.

Thats a fair argument, i am alittle jelous of the superbowl wins but i brought that upon myself. I sure hope flynn works out. If he plays half as good as that lions game or as good as that pats game, Rice plays all season and beast mode has a repeat i dont see how the niners plow the hawks. Not this year..

If Alex gets the ball to Moss and Manningham is all that he should be and nobody gets hurt and Gore goes over 1,200 and Ginn has a 40 yd average on returns and takes a few to the house and Davis is a sure-handed TE and Aldon gets 16 sacks and blah,blah,blah, I don't see how the Niners can't bring home another trophy either.

The Niners/Fawks are gonna be fun games to watch. I think both teams will put an end to the snickers about the NFC Waste being such a weak division. Depending on who the Rams get with all their picks, they could be tough too.

I also think the Fawks are at least one year away (maybe two) from beating the Niners with any consistency. I seriously doubt they'll beat 'em this year.
