this happened on saturday at the Lucas Oil Nationals.. they were priming the car, and when it started, it throttled up for some reason... the video speaks for itself... the guy is alright tho thank god..

this also happened, but was on friday at the 4 Wide Nationals, where 4 cars race at once, and there is 32,000 hp on the track at the same time..

I seen a guy get killed from a clutch that exploded at S.I.R. A piece blew apart and hit him in the head. This was in the late seventies.

yeah its dangerous... i never stand near the cars when the engines are throttled up, some people will stand down near the burnout box, but things can happen, ill use my zoom to capture it... there has been some very scary, and deadly wrecks in the last years... the Antron Brown incident as seen here..




and the crash that killed one of my favorite drivers ever, the late Scotty Kallita, RIP... watch at your own risk..
