It's like most everything else the R's say or do...if Obama is for it, is doing it, or someone somewhere in the government is for it or doing it, then it is all Obama's fault, and will ruin our country.

Nevermind it's the same stuff that Reagan and both Bushes did, and that those same R's thought it was just fine then.

It's ok to agree to that...so long as you admit that it wasn't a problem until Obama did it...but I will give you credit for at least not pretending that both Bushes and the conservative darling Reagan were not also doing the exact same thing...even if it is retroactive, and you weren't complaining about it ruining the country then.

Monday I'm going to take a photo of the article titled "Obama vows to cut deficit in half in four years."

That was "Vows"......as in v o w......and it was Obama......as in pure BS

Todd thinks it's fine that Obama has added $5 trillion just as long as we admit there were others who did it too? And we all thought it was peachy-keen until Obama did it?

Never heard the conservatives complaining about the deficit or debt until Obama became prez. Now it's his fault?

For the record I've been complaining about prez and congressional fiscal irresponsibility since 1980. That's the kinda' free spending liberal I am.

Hank was against the Iraq War.

And he said so at least once.

Apparently the other spending was cool, though.

I've always, always been a fiscal conservative. I don't like the money spent in the Middle East; I don't like the money spent on Medicare Part D; I don't like the money spent at universities for shrimp in hamster wheels. I don't like the money spent for Star Wars and I don't like the money spent for making soldiers invisible.

It wasn't shrimp in hamster wheels, the National Science Foundation paid a university $559,681 to test sick shrimps’ metabolism, which one researcher said was “the first time that shrimp have been exercised on a treadmill. The conclusion of the study indicated sick shrimp did not perform as well and did not recover as well from exercise as healthy shrimp.

Money well spent.

Because we pussed out and the majority of the country was asscurred chitless. We spent (and continue to spend) vast amounts of money to "protect" ourselves while probably not stopping much. TSA and defense contract spending are a good place to start. Might want to check out those wars too...

The only thing the Military/Industrial Complex needs to protect itself from is a secure citizenry...they not only thrive on, but create themselves an air of insecurity and fear that most people are willing to pay to have assagued, pay with money and civil rights, even when it is illusory.

You are no safer now than you were before 9/11, only a lot poorer, and more scared.
