i just found this place and thought I would join. i spend most of my time at duckhunter.net., but another fourm wont hurt. Well I live to hunt and fish. I spend most of my time hunting for waterfowl, But hunt Deer, elk, Bear, and preditors. In the off season I do alot of bass fishing. Some walleye and sturgeon fishing when I have time. I spend the rest of the time scouting and getting ready for calling contest.

So how has every ones season been?

Welcome Shane!!! I think you'll like it, there's a pretty good group here.

My season has gone pretty well(upland and waterfowl hunter). New dog year, but he's exceptional- can't expect anything less, he is MY dog afterall. wink Do you have a duck dog?

Welcome, hope your season is going well. I get over to the Tri-City area a few times a season. Most of my duckhunting is on Sauvie Island. The season is below average for us. Our lake took about 600 birds in Oct and hasn't been that high since. It is very slow at the present time unless you count geese. Plenty of them but most of us pass on geese until we are forced to hunt them when ducks close. Don't get me wrong they are fun but not our first choice. I'm without a dog as my old gal died last year and I have spent months trying to locate another. I am a retired guy and want to spend some time in hunt tests. This way I can play all year with a best friend.
Glad to hear you have a dog and you like to hunt. The board can be a great place to get some ideas as to whats happening where. Again welcome and may your season only get better.

Hey Driftboater....give the guy a chance.
You've only made 5 posts. Not alot to judge someone which is actually the job of the modsquad!

Do useless posts count?

I guess it depends how useless and to whom.
