Gary, Steve, chris, all great dudes to hang out with. Good trip, good times had, good fish. Thanks for helping make it a memorable post guiding Vaca! 50/50 on fresh to stale but some Gooood players
Thanks to the folks at GBL, I'll steal this from Steve, we never heard the word "no" and if anyone is looking for a place to stay or planning a trip I'd call and talk to Pete.
still quite a bit of snow on the ground when we got there:

started it off on a good foot with a nice hen:

chris followed suit with another:

the hike up river:

About to get completely and utterly owned by a fish into the wood:

more hens:

a hot tide fish that came back down stream to hit... pretty F'n cool to see!

Give a guy a ride to the river and see what he does 2nd cast calling his spot:

a few good bucks:

chris's fish of the trip:

and mine; Pretty stoked on this one; He was sitting in a small pocket between two lof Jags that I somehow got a cast into and he buried it, then continued to chug upstream like nothing was happening. then when he realized shifted into 5th and shot down past the logs into some heavy water and of corse took me way down below my camera man so the only shot I got was him next to the rod but he was a solid spunky 37"er that kicked my [Bleeeeep!] and I just happened to get lucky and survive:

again thanks to all involved!
enjoy

Its actually good (I know that sounds bad)
but no I was surprised to see legit good jigs and some well built spinners. I might add some smaller jigs, bigger beads, different stuff for the guys looking to swing flys but other wise well done

Thanks OP, I had a whole winter of working on that shop, now getting more gear ready for the fall as well...!
I feel better knowing it has what is needed, still got to get more floats up there as well as some other stuff, every year it will get better!

I buy everyone beer and wine ,but liquid in general is expensive to get up there, heck, milk is $8.50 a gallon!
I am just glad people are coming up and having a good time, without PP'ers and other groups we would have a hard time.
I appreciate all of you that come up. Not an easy business to be in! But seeing those pictures and spending quite a few weeks a year jerking heads, it makes it all worth it!

Opie, Stamson, Bernie, et al, fine work. If ever there was a steelheading dream team, you guys would definitely make honorable mention smile. Kidding aside, killer trip, beautiful fish, ugly mugs, and good times no doubt.
