I say great idea, Ya been cleanin out the river in front of me for to long, Time to have something keep ya to busy to fish. lol. No really we need people concerned about local western Washington econmy and our fish to run, Norm was good for both. I think ya should go for it.....

Your right. No out of towners should work in Greys Harbor County.
While we are at it, no out of towners should work in Pierce, or King County.
Double edged sword, man.
i think what he was getting at was everyone trying to get the pontoon project out here was touting the "more local jobs" line, when in reality they brought most of their help in from outside. one of their guys came into the shop with a bunch of electric pumps a few months ago, these things were pieces of junk from home depot. he wanted them fixed cheap, and said "our guys make $60 an hour...we can't have them working on this stuff".

Every big job in every city gets that more "more local jobs" quote.
There are guys from Greys Harbor on many jobs up north. Aint a thang. They call it journeyman for a reason.
Pretty funny how if there is a big job in a small town, some expect it to be manned with mostly locals.

I have zero cash to get started but seriously if any of you have been involved in a campaign and raising money and such please contact me.....I have alot to learn in a short amount of time. I will also be looking for someone to manage me and my campaign being I am probably the larger of the 2 task......I can make a difference....hell if patty Murray can do it I think I can! But I have an enormous amount of [Bleeeeep!] to learn......any polo/sci profs out there who can help with a crash course?

Ok..............Here is the question, Norm Dicks is retiring from his seat as the 6th district congressman..............I am currently unemployed and I think I could represent a large section of the population that is struggling to get by in this shii...tty fuu..cking economy which is tired of the status quo and tired of hearing how all the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and the opportunity for a lot of us is slipping away in foriegn manufacturing and such. A prime example is the 520 potoon project that was brought to grays harbor county by our politicians which is great, it was suppossed to put us folks from Grays harbor county back to work..........or so says the Kewiet Company who is the general on the project. They put on there dog and pony shows at the log pavillion and at aberdeen highschool and then what do those motherfuu..ckers do, they bring in all there workers from everywhere else and put them on the job.........I am a union carpenter and paid my dues and signed on the books and my BA told me the chance of me being hired on the project was a snowballs chance in Hell ! right now there is about 300 people on that project and I think about 10 of them are real Grays Harbor residents ! sh..itt needs to change and I am willing to make a difference, Tood will be my legal counsel, I have a great Press / Mouth piece guy already, I just need some funds and a staff and we will make a difference..................trust me ! I wont get caught doing drugs or hookers or any of that, I have already done that ! I just want to represent those of us who are struggling and want to work hard for a fu..cking future !

Fly I like how you admit that between you and the campaign, you would likely be the larger task to manage  Funny chit right there. Go for it dude! Sign up Parker as your campaign manager (you could do much worse), and maybe find some really hot chick to be your personal manager. Then go out on parade to make this happen!
