We had a pretty good turnout today at the hatchery.
fp, Mikey B, George R, Big Train, R2fishn, Frank, Steve B, On The Swing, Ernie R, Womperman, Chuck B, Wayne and last but not least Superfly.

We got a ton of fish marked and will be at it again tomorrow and all week. We need more help so be there.

Here's a couple of pictures of the operation.
On The Swing loading up the fish bins.

One of the full clipping tables with volunteers.

And the other table.

A great day and alot of BS around the tables. Come see us.

We've lost CanyonMan for Friday, as he's got to get his kids on Friday over in Yakima. frown

I'm heading down from Seattle Friday morning. My 4Runner will hold 3 more people........

Can someone please post up the address and/or directions for those of us that have been to the hatchery before?

Not sure of the address but it's on Kirkpatrick Road.

Go North through Hoquiam on highway 101 about 24 miles and cross the Humptulips River bridge. 600 yards is the Hump store and turn left there and go about 2 miles and hatchery is on the left after crossing Stevens Creek bridge. Real easy to find.

See ya's there,

fp

We will be clipping next week too..........so just dont think this is it, we have a [Bleeeeep!]..load of fish to clip guys so lets keep adding names to the roster. I am currently going thru some very aggressive nerve treatments on my back so I will only be able to be there a few more days for 1/2 a day at a time. But what I am willing to do to help the cause even further is for everyday you clip you get to put your name in the hat and when the clipping is over there will be a drawing and.....................................the 2 names that get drawn get a trip with yours truly......" SUPERFLY " the king of the humptulips ! and if that does not inspire you I don't know what else will other then Hookers and Blow !

Fred, I want you to be in charge of taking attendence and doing the drawing !
So all of you who are cool enough to show up please let fred know your there to get in on the drawing.

I don't see any other guides stepping up and offering something like this ! Mark Coleman, Ray Ray, Mike from FLGS, Mike O'niel, Gilly Ostergaard, Jim " Hairball", Mark Hiest, Bob Vail, Rich Mercado, Mike from Twin Forks, Jumpin Jake, Casey W, Swanny, Duane Inglin .......ect I am calling all of you out to do something to help inspire the volunteers if you yourself cant be there !

I know there is many more and then a bunch of poseurs on top of that so please ..........put your time in or offer something up to a river that gives all of us so much back !!!!!!

I am sure I am making friends all over the place right now, but ask me if I care !!!

Peace
Fly

WOW!!!!!! Lotsa clippers showed up at the hatchery today and we really clipped a bunch. Pretty close to 54,000 Coho. Maybe more as I got tired and left a couple of hours before they called it quits for today.

Today's super stars were: Seastrike, Hank, Dave C, Ernie R, Terry R, Steve R, Ken M, Robbie G fishing guide, On The Swing again, Bob M, Chuck B again, Steve B again, Softbite, John R, Bruce K, Jim S, Womperman again, John V M, George R fishing guide again, Big Train again, fp again and Mikey B again.

Some of us just can't get enough!

As for now I only have 4 on the list for Thursday (tomorrow) so I hope some people show up and help carry the load.

Grays Harbor Poggies and some CCA members showed today and that really helped and I hope they come again.

Thanks to all and see you tomorrow,

fp

Canyon Man,

I'll try to check with the hatchery guys tomorrow. I'm pretty sure we'll still be clippin' then. 500,000 is a long ways away as we have done around 80-85 so far in 2 days but if we get lotsa help it goes waaaay faster ya know.

Myself, George R and Mikey B will be gone Saturday and Sunday and the clipping list is pretty small those 2 days.

Thanks and hope to see you there,

fp
