If Mack's new home falls through, I know someone up in B.C. that will definitely take him.

Hi, my name is Ross and I work with Sony who has Boris, Macks brother. I have known Boris since he was a pup. I know you have had several people interested in Mack.
I grew up owning a Lab and I wanted to have one for our family as I love their temperament and intelligence. We live in Port Moody which is out of town and more in the countryside. We have a very large fenced backyard and our house backs onto a large greenbelt that goes on for miles with a lot of trails. I have a 7 and 11 year old that would keep Mack very busy and my wife works part time from home so he would not be lonely. Plus I can take him to work with me if the need arise, especially if Boris is dropping by.
I know he would be very happy here and there are lots of dog buddies around here that he can play with so it would be ideal.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks
Ross

Ross,

Thank you for your interest. It sounds like you have a place that would be great for a dog!

I have received an overwhelming response to adopt Mack, which I greatly appreciate. If these fall through, I will let you know.

Thanks,

When I first saw your post I wanted to take him right off the bat as he is exactly what I have been looking for, but...

Several years ago we lost another black dog which happened to be named Mack also and as hard as my wife took him going down I could not do it. He would have been with me all the time and I live close enough that he could have visited his siblings.

It sounds like you have lots of prospects and they all seem like great homes for Mack to go to, best of luck.

therein lies the rub. it's certainly going to be an adventure! that's about 175# of dog, with undeniable energy and unbridled enthusiasm for mayhem. it's certainly not going to be boring.
