To add insult to injury, the GOP is leading 60-40 in all of the Senate races too.

No, it's not...I thought it would be more like 4-8 points...
Fish on...
Todd By the time all of the votes are tallied, it's likely to be 4-5 points. Not much change from the '10 election except from what I read, the GOP voters were said to be more energized to vote..if that's possible.

So Walker spent $30 M to save the taxpayers $30 M by screwing state workers? Really? Shows me that the rich are not paying their fair share of taxes if they can give their soft earned money.
Someting stinks in Wisconsin and it's not the cheese, Badgers, or the Pack!

Walker raised $30 million and around $60 million overall was spent. How much was spent for Barrett?

60% It's hard to get by that, isn't it? 60%.....can you say super majority? What's that I hear? Sounds like a whole lot of "ignore" buttons being pushed.

To add further insult to injury, Barrett (who is the Mayor of Milwaukee) lost the vote in Milwaukee.

With 65% of the districts reporting, Walker is leading 58-41. Looks like Walker is winning all of the fly-over counties.. http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/152346265.htmlBarrett is winning 7 of 72 Wisconsin counties..

What Wisconsin needs now is a good ol' Sam Reed. "Oh looky here......more bags of votes that we missed.....My goodness, there must be two truck loads of them!"

Obama won in WI by 14 pts in '08..he won't come close to that this year even with more cash than the $750 mil he spent to be prez then. With a Barrett win, he wouldn't need to spend as much time and money in WI. Now he'll have to do just that. He's got some serious fence mending to do there. Barrett was outspent by a considerable margin, but that's not the story in this election. He was never ahead in any poll and there wasn't any interest in spending money on a lost cause. Even the Dem party of WI barely gave him any funds. That might be because he saved $20 mil for his city by using the Walker reforms in Milwaukee. It could be he pissed the Dems and the unions off when he wrote a letter to the WI legislature, asking them to extend the ban on collective bargaining to police and firefighters. It could be he wasn't the candidate the unions supported, and already gave $5 mil to, in the Dem primary. The need for pension reforms for public unions are spreading through the states already. Down here, San Jose and San Diego voted overwhelmingly to do that. Pensions for newly hired workers will not be defined any longer..strictly 401K.

Man, your life must really suck to be this boned out about another state's recall election that merely allows him to finish the term. Even you can probably sense that, right?
