Had a great memorial day weekend in area 4. Lots of fish with good freinds and awesome weather. Limits of keeper lings and cabezon a few days, a few rockbass and yellowtails (west of the line) and all sorts of species... Not bad for our first full adventure to the area. We stayed shallow and close to shore so no monster lings but did manage a few decent ones. And those Cabezon are scrappy for their size! Anyways, here are a few pics to share.
Nice flat sea's.

A few clouds during the trip but relatively nice for the coast...

I fished for these a lot when I was younger and forgot how much fun it was (and easy!).

Filled coolers daily.

I caught my first ever Halibut and had to let it go... No fillet and release on our boat! lol We ventured to say around 50lbs? it was over 5' long. Caught two others we released as well.

Fish all over the place.

The Crew. 4 bass fisherman trying to cut it on the salt!

A nice pair on the last day. Weather picked up but layed down enough for some good fishing. Limits and back to the dock before noon with bonus fish as well.

Overall, we learned a lot and had a blast. Caught hundreds of fish, success in our books! We will be back for more, maybe a little better prepared...
Took a few days off and then the steelhead opener.
A few nice chrome ones in the AM on June 1st.
Nice head shot
