We will be clipping Wednesday. Be done when the 500,000 are swimming just missing the lil' fin so we can whack'em in a few years.

Thanks and hope to see you there,

fp.

Been fun but, man, my back hurts.

Another big day today clipping. Looks like we got about 43,000 of them lil' critters done with 13 clippers. Several Grays Harbor Poggies and CCA members helped again.

It was Roger66, Gilly fishing guide, Jughead, and the every day guys Mikey B, fp, George R fishing guide, On The Swing, Steve B, Soft Bite, Jim S. Womperman, Chuck B, Bob M.

Really need some help so come-on? We need you.

I only have 5 people on the list for Friday and less than that for Saturday as 3 of us regulars are not going to be around.

Getting there but it's a lot of work.

The Humptulips Store on Saturday is going to put on a BBQ for the clippers that day so come over and do a clip or two and get a free lunch on the store. That is a great offer from Dave. Thanks.

I'm trying to talk Mrs. Salmo into joining me Saturday, and I have room in the car for a couple more from the Oly area.

BBQ lunch is a very nice gesture.

Good for you Salmo.g. Sorry, I'm gonna miss you, as I'm gone Saturday and Sunday but I will leave you my real fast snippers.

It would be great to have some women helping as, from experience, my darlin' wife can dig Clams way faster than me so I know she would do many more Coho's with the little clippers than I could.

Gonna miss the BBQ too! Dang the luck. And, we are real short on volunteers over the weekend.

fp, I managed to get permission to go Friday, will meet you at your place same time as today. I will drive if you want a break.

It looks like there is room for 6-8 more people on the 25th. The process is easy to learn and the work environment is great as it is a friendly laid back group. People are welcome even if you only have a few hours available. Typically it runs from 8:15 am to 4:00 pm.

Way to go to all who worked on the project so far.....the Humptulips River and the resourse benefit.

If not for a knee replacement, April 9th, I'd do the clip, clip, clip...just like the old days, at Lake Aberdeen with some great people.......RIP, Jerry Paveltich, Tom Pentt, Kay and Bob Bernethy......They were some of the leaders in getting projects like this done. Clubs working with WDFW to get projects done, in Region 6.
Thanks all ..... Big hand for those that give of their time.

What a great day we had today. Sorry I had to leave early but I gotta go fishing and I've been there all week so a couple days off is in the works.

We clipped 60,000 today of these little Silvers. The bar has been set.

Had some great people showing their best sides. Even a few PP guys. Parker, Canyonman and Spoonman. They did all day and a great job by them.

How about a guide that was working so what did he do? Yup, sent his wife, Mrs. All Rivers Guide Service. Thanks Mary! And Gilly, On The Swing and Soft Bite in the area.

Then a couple of my fishing partners the Fishin' Optician and Mikey and El Grato Grande.

Around noon time Dave from Humptulips Grocery stopped by and brought lunch for all. It was great and he is going to do it again Saturday so hope somebody shows. Thanks Dave, yummie! And, as we ate he clipped. Don't forget when you are in the Humptulips area stop by the store and buy a few snacks! I know I will.

The regular clippers today were,in no particular order:
Mikey B, fp, Softbite,On The Swing, Dave, Steve B, Ernie & Chuck B.

How about the guides? George R, Gilly, Mary C. and Hairball.

And some newbies:
Canyonman, Parker, Ron E, Brian A, ElGrato Grande, Pat.F, Alan K & Spoonman. Thanks, we needed you.

And last but not least, Brian Blake.

If I missed somebody come again and I'll get ya that time.

We need lotsa help this weekend and next week. Several regulars have other commitments this weekend and are gonna miss all this excitement.

Thanks again, I'll be back,

fp

Nice work guys! I always tell people, spend a day clipping those little things and you'll never look at a misclip on an adult the same way again!

Salmo G even offered a ride from Oly but I can't get out of the house until 9. I did get the lawn mowed tonight so don't have to worry about it tomorrow.
