Anyone hunt up in the whatcom skagit country areas?

Good luck to all that may try there luck at bear this year!!!

PEACE

i've successfully hunted the whatcom county area, but haven't hunted for about 4 years now and don't plan on hunting blackies this year either. Good luck to you in you hunting this year. As for a little tip, think berries and you should be succesful. ;\)

Just got back from a few days on the south side of Mt. Baker.......

I was in the berries and so were the bears.. Came across a real nice set of track off the 1144 road!

Catcher,, maybe we can do a little AM or PM spot scoping this season.. Its coming up fast!

I'll be going out, but to just be hunting. I'm not really wanting to kill another bear. Lots of work. I would bag another if it was an off color bear though. I spend most of my bear hunting time around Mt. Rainier. I'll probably concentrate on getting either my wife or my buddy there first bear this season, while I scout for deer and elk.
