The fuckin O was pissed when the Heller case was decided by the SCOTUS.
Decided in favor of Heller.

He came out with this statement:
"I identify with the need for crime-ravaged communities to save their children from the violence that plagues our streets through common-sense, effective safety measures. (DC's position in the case.)

Fact of the matter is he was referring directly to the black on black crime (killings) that plagues DC... Chicago, Detroit, Philly, et al.
Out of the top 10 list of worst cities to live in, Blacks are more than 50% of the population on 8 of the 10 cities listed. Murders among blacks in those cities is rampant -out of hand.

But, no need to attack the Second Amendment.
Guns don't kill people, criminal with guns kill people.
Outlaw guns and these criminals will use knives or ball bats.

Yes, there are some that have suggested a conspiracy.
There are those that believe the entire point of Fast & Furious was to establish some ground for the Executive to weaken the Second Amendment, which the SCOTUS had just affirmed as an absolute individual right in Heller. DC v. Heller was a landmark case in which the SCOTUS held that the 2nd amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm for "traditionally lawful purposes". The first time it had been clearly defined in 127 years.

Unfortunately, that decision leaves a 'crack in the door'. I put quotation marks around the language that does.

As pointed out above, the Oblamy was not happy about the decision. Some claim he (the Oblamy) would provide a rebut to the decision that he could "ram" into law, but then, the Congress changed parties in 2010 and his deceitful strategy went down the proverbial shithole... Or so goes the conspiracy.


Speaking of that, maybe the Oblamy will go down the same proverbial hole this fall.

The 2nd Amendment is going nowhere, and never has, no matter who's been the President.

You looking for a conspiracy? Look at the NRA and gun shops who freaked out when Obama was elected and made millions selling all those guns and ammo that were about to be outlawed...they laughed at you Kool-Aid drinkers all the way to the bank, and still are...the rest of us are laughing at you still, too.

And, the Heller case...so much for the right wing's strict constructionist reading of the the Constitution and their decrying of "activist judges"...they made up a right that clearly isn't written clearly in there...but since the dingbats liked it, all of a sudden they abandoned strict constructionism and their hate for "activist judges"...abandoning whatever credibility or integrity they had (which was not much) right along with it.

While most the country and most all the politicians do nothing at all regarding gun rights there is a cottage industry getting rich off of ginning up a nonexistent conspiracy, then getting you fools to drain your bank accounts, giving the money to the very ones who are lying to you.

The Heller case was brought to redress a local law that passed not allowing guns in the city limits of DC.
That law was first imposed to address the high death/murder rates that was rampant in the black communities of the city.

Obama referred to the "crime-ravaged communities" in direct reference to the problem within those ethnic communities and his support of the DC case.

So for the purpose of clarity and insight, I tried to lay out an overview of the Heller case, Fast & Furious, the community involved that the DC law meant to protect, and the conspiracy Todd brought up that he over heard on Fox News.

I know what all that is about...which, of course, has nothing to do with any actual conspiracy...F&F has nothing to do with any gun grabbing, nor has anything Obama has done in over three years had anything to do with gun grabbing.

To think otherwise is to just empower the lying sacksofshit over at the NRA to take your money for no reason whatsoever.

Here's your "facts"...and even though it's Maddow asking the question, who is clearly a partisan, it's the right wing morons who are utterly detached from reality who are showing just how smart they are.
