Been out three times here on the Westside for blacktail with the bow. I have seen 5 does and 1 small buck total. Was able to get the closest to the buck, about 60 yards, but not close enough for a sure shot. Played cat and mouse with him for about 25 minutes. Closed the gap from 120 yards to 60. Then, he just melted away into the dense brush. Had fun though. This is my first year. What a great way to hunt! It is hard work but I really enjoy it. Anyone else on this thread have any luck?
