Yes.. I mainly fish eggs while fishing for Salmon.. When I hold my rod, I keep the tip pointed downstream somewhat, a couple inches off the water, and my back upstream and set the hook up and across my body towards my shoulder... What that gives me, is roughtly a 10 foot hookset if I need it...Baitcasting rods, im exactly opposite, back downstream, rod tip up stream, and set the hook up and away from my body...
I don't stand face forward to the far bank and hold my rod out like generally everyone else does..
All I know, is I am not changing what I do for Salmon.. For Steelhead, I probably should change rivers... I like my winter fishing out West, first time today probably really targeting Summers...

Yeah I'm pretty sure what I typed and what I meant by it... Use your head and you may figure it out...
Anyways, I have been told countless times that sometimes Shrimp (51-70 count or the likes) are better than eggs, that a better option for Summers? I may go again tommorow, I have those salad shrimp, may just try them under a bobber (another thing im not good at) and see what happens... I need something to do for the next 2 months fishing wise anyways..Or go down south...

why, because i mess with your head by typing correctly?
reason i did that is so that people would possibly actually read it and be intellectual in their responses... well, a few were, and it was greatly appreciated... the others havin playfull fun, all good as well... the OTHERS, blow me....
How's that for too good to be true?

Do you take a lot of acid? It's those dudes that chug upstream like a dozer. Those can be interesting.

ridiculous, I love this place LOL . You clearly are new to the ways of redhook. The entertainment factor is top notch even when the intent of the thread is supposed to be serious.

Oh yeah, Todd, I have noticed that the Luhr Jensen foam Okies, wobble and move a HELL of alot more than the Grizzly Okies made from acrelate plastic or whatever it was...
Is there a reason for that? What ones do you prefer?

<= Prefers the two part plastic Okies...it's not the wobble so much as the semi-neutral buoyancy, plus action when bouncing off of rocks, kinda like that new- old-thing, the bead.
Fish on...
Todd
