Light rain and 55 up there right now. Calling for 65 and sunny when we get there and 62 mostly sunny for the first day of fishin'..wind picking up to 12. How did that work for ya? Think it may have backed off to 12 a couple times today between the 25 to 35 kt. gusts.

windy today.. nice yesterday. Kings are harder to come by, but rat cohos are thick and limits happen quickly. Halibut fishing is just good if you have the stomach to get offshore in the slop. I managed to zuke a lower unit on one verado yesterday, and shred an alternator belt on the other one, which left me dead in the water for a few minutes. When it rains, it pours. Still got a pile of fish..(grin)

Just got a text from Dave...Lots of fish BUT.......Kings haven't wanted to play..Seems crazy, just days ago we actually had two days that we really had to try to get away from them.

Sorry to hear about the lower unit Joel...that sucks a'loht man. I'm sure Chet will get'r back in the water pronto for you guys.
The PP group was a great group of guys. No surprise there! Vedder and Stam didn't disappoint with witty humor and every single one of them fished their hearts out while they were here.
Thanks again for joining us guys and hope to see you all back here again next year. Also a big thanks to Bob for letting them post this trip on his board. Lots of good fishing friendships have been made here...pretty cool!
Off and running again. Ciao!

That is a tired Halibut! Can't wait to hear that one.
