Was it wrong? YES. Should he have done it? NO. We have become a lily livered cry baby society that creates whiners. Fact in point most of the I am going to kill myself cause Joey picked one me kids would have never survived life in the 80's or before. The bullying and beatings for many of us were relentless, but we survived. Children and people in general were more respectful and stronger who lived through those times. How many I hate the world and I must go to school with a gun to get revenge crap was going on? I have personally witnessed kids today that act like shiats, have no respect, and threatening adults/' parents with DSHS, etc. Our society has helped turn much more of our youth into troublesome people through weak handed tactics and fear. I do NOT think abuse is acceptable, but I also think that we do not allow parents to discipline their children. When I was raised in the oh so abusive past you never heard about children being disciplined to death. It did happen, but not like today. What has changed? I think it is that our society no longer backs respect and order through understanding and discipline.
