I need to buy a muley cape to do a head mount. It was too far to pack it out. Anyone have any suggestions???

Taxidermists will sometimes have an extra cape they'll sell you. If not they can order one for you. My dad had a big whitetail mounted and ordered up a cape for 70 bucks. If we're lucky I'll get a mulie with my bow and you can have my cape. Unless its an absolute monster and the wife will let me mount another one.

I'm heading east all next week looking for a mulie, if I score I can give you the cape. Do alittle dance for luck and you'll have your cape.

How big are the horns? I am heading south for the weekend - should we happen upon a bruiser I will keep the cape for you...we usually just europoean mount them....but truth be told we will be meat hunting - so the first forkie will get smoke blown towards him.

I found one! Thanks everyone for keeping your eyes out for me. If anyone has this dilemma in the future, check with meat processors. Often times they keep the capes off the animals that get brought in.
