"If I wanted to disclose where I was fishing I would have..."
I thought you already did a while back in one of the fish mags.....

Not on the water today, but the reports are about the same as yesterday.
Good to great fishing on the top end and getting a bit scratchier as you work your way down the Sound.
This is the 6-week period where I truly wish I not only owned a 26" NorthRiver Seahawk (or 23' Parker) but had a slip at Shilshole.

What the hell is with this rust colored algae bloom this year? It's heavier than I recall ever seeing..hopefully we can identify the source of what is causing this? Agri Runoff perhaps? All I know is it's worse than I have seen in the central sound.
Nothing out the ordinary Ryley. Just a factor of the amount of sunlight and water temp creates these big blooms. Nothing to do with agri runoff, etc. They just happen from time to time in the Sound and some blooms are worse than others.
The real Dr. Parker does all her bioinfomatics and genetics works on these types of critters. I'll see if she can tell me exactly what it is...on sight and location alone.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noctiluca_scintillansThe Sound was pretty red flying in from Craig in early June. You could see HUGE blooms from the air. I think it's more prevalent this year than other years.
