Some of the not-so-local kids also jump into those waters.

Agreed Paker....not even the crusty captain has had a word to say. I am thinking something BIG must have happened. Or, maybe they were all kidnapped by the hilltop talent and are being whipped and beaten as I type!

windy today.. nice yesterday. Kings are harder to come by, but rat cohos are thick and limits happen quickly. Halibut fishing is just good if you have the stomach to get offshore in the slop.

I managed to zuke a lower unit on one verado yesterday, and shred an alternator belt on the other one, which left me dead in the water for a few minutes. When it rains, it pours. Still got a pile of fish..(grin)

Just got a text from Dave...Lots of fish BUT.......Kings haven't wanted to play..Seems crazy, just days ago we actually had two days that we really had to try to get away from them.

Sorry to hear about the lower unit Joel...that sucks a'loht man. I'm sure Chet will get'r back in the water pronto for you guys.

The PP group was a great group of guys. No surprise there! Vedder and Stam didn't disappoint with witty humor and every single one of them fished their hearts out while they were here.

Thanks again for joining us guys and hope to see you all back here again next year. Also a big thanks to Bob for letting them post this trip on his board. Lots of good fishing friendships have been made here...pretty cool!

Off and running again. Ciao!

Too tired, too happy. Too much fun. Full report someday – maybe. Some stuff probably never to be reported. Here are a few quick pix.

That is a tired Halibut! Can't wait to hear that one.
