I have hunted dove out near Spokane the last couple of years but won't have time this year. Does anybody know of a good location out on the west side, within an hours drive of the Tacoma/Seattle area ?

I have never hunted for doves on this side of the hills but I have heard of decent spots up near Sequim.

I also saw some out near the north part of the Hood Canal Sat. morning. I have never seen them there before so I was pretty surprised.

Most doves on the west side are locals. Stay here year round. You can find some band tailled pigeons near the coast. If you want to have a real hunt, go back to Spokane or even Pullman area. Nothing really good around here.

Just returned from a 2 day hunt over near Yakima. Slim pickins in the morning but waves of 20-30 right before dusk cruising up the canal. Had a great time.
