who's gonna fill there elk tag this year? i surely plan to. will mostly hunt the west slopes and south central cascades. once again i can only hope to not be shot at by the thousands that will follow in my foot steps! hehe. the air is turing colder... bring on the crowds! seriously though, were y'all plan on hunting? done much scouting, if so hows it lookin? iv seen good sign so far and quite a few mature bulls, all a long ways off and still hangin with the spikes,usually. the ruts gonna be a little late this year by the looks of the heards iv seen. good luck to everyone this year.

this will be my first year out for elk. Uncle "knows" some good spots for the kelso herd. No idea where at, but would like to hear some reports from that area if anyone has some.
