I would like some tips on natural scent masking, (not just buying those sprays). I heard something about boiling craked acorns or something???????

Check this site out....

I haven't hunted big game to much but I'm sure you can find your answers if you poke around in here for awile.

I would go to the archery sections as they have to weigh in the factors of scent a little more than the modern hunters.

hope this helps.

The best way is to start taking Chlorophyll Tablets. You can also wash daily with scent free soap.
I archery hunt and here is what I do.

I never wear my hunting clothes in or near a vehicle or near camp. I keep them in a plastic bag filled with leaves and pine/cedar bows etc. A couple of hundred yards from camp. I change when leave to hunt. I do not have fires in camp and I shower every evening. You can use a 5 gallon bucket with a shower head mounted on it. Heat water on the stove if you are camping.
I have had Mountain goat walk withing a few feet of me and not know I was there.
