Interested in some ideas concerning using a sled for hunting, including varmint hunting, ducks, turkeys, whatever. Ideas or suggestions?

Have used a sled to hunt the breaks of the Big C for upland birds. Have also chased 'yotes & waterfowl in that a/o as well....

Believe it or not, we never floated the Wilson with out a shotgun.

That was a few years ago.

Many day's we would hit the gravel bar with a limit of ducks and steelhead.

During duck season I always toss a shotgun in the boat when I go fishing.

I have set down a rod with a coho throbbing on one end to pick up my shotgun and blast (at) a mallard. Last year I was throwing spinners in September, and used my electric motor to sneak up on and shoot a bear (with a camera phone).

There are 3 pretty big coastal bays/estuaries where cast and blasts are imminently possible (Grays Harbor, Willipa, and Columbia).

Creativity and local knowledge go a long way.

Lots of doves on the eastside right now. Sounds like it should be pretty good.
