okay guys how many of you out there got your elk this year lets hear the stories and see some pics. i was lucky and killed a nice 5x4 up near packwood last saturday. at about eight am.

I shot a spike over in Idaho this year. The little guy ran buy me at 10 yards and took one to the neck. He was dead before he hit the ground.
I wouldn't usually shoot a spike (branch antler bulls are legal) but at 10 yards I couldn't resist

I shot my deer at ten yards this year too!
Next year it's back to branch bulls for me...though this one is eating up really well.
