randle is a very good area to hunt for bear. but another spot to hunt where i have seen alot of bears and have killed three bears out of four years hunting this area. the area is skate creek just out of packwood. also greenwater is another good area. not the quanity of bears there like skate creek or randle. but if you see a bruin in greenwater he is gonna be big. what caliber of gun are you gonna hunt them with. i use a 338 win mag for them. and everything else i hunt. but besides that point. i hope you have a very successful bear hunt this year. hello hello

There's a bunch around Brooklyn. Also you missed a really big hunt in Capitol Forest.

I use a 270 short mag wityh 130 grain bullet I have killed a bear with it a few yrs back. I have heard out towards brooklyn is good just find a logging road? I think there is a davis creek out that way and I have heard there are lots of bears out that way but I dont know the area. I appreciate the info, skate creek huh? did you hunt for bear hard up there did you see lots? I live in Centralia so I might make it up there a time or two, Brooklyn is a little closer so I am definantly going to check it out.

Skate Creek out of Packwood is good. Also copper creek road just east of Packwood is a very good spot. Some public land backs up to Warehouser land and has very little bear pressure. Lots of berry field with areas to glass. Mostly an archery elk area.

I plan to hunt bear this year as well. But I'll have to wait until August since I never got around to putting in for the spring drawing. Now I'm really kicking myself with the April 15th opener being only ten days away.

Sister do shoot a Pink 25-284,with X bullets.

Even for Deer.

Big Brother shoots a 7-08 spewing same(140XLC's).

I shoot a lil' of everything, even for the Dinks. I used a 375H&H Ackley Improved stoked with 270gr Winny FailSafe's,to shoot this one in the ass as he whirled away.

Had to sew the exit hole in the center of his brisket shut.

The kids rate the same riggin' I do..................
