Anyway I've got a nipple broken off half way on my muzzleloader. The broken part is still in the breach. I've got a T/C Firehawk inline. How do I get the broken end out?
I've got a hunt coming up on Saturday and leave on Thursday....

I assume you don't have a tap and die set? If not, find a friend who does (and who knows how to use the taps). You should be able to get it right out. I'd bring along penetrating oil, too.

Did that on my hunt this year but I always carry a backup breech plug, nipple and firing arm for my knight bighorn.. Never know when crap like that will happen..

I still don't have it out. Dogfish and I tried and failed. Luckily he lent me his as he'd tagged out. Mine is going to gunsmith.

Just order a new breach plug.Shouldnt be that much money.

Can you get an extra long drill bit.Drill a bigger hole and then get an easy out in it?
