Another piece of equipment that is sitting in a box unused for several years... just taking up space. This is a vintage aluminum body Shimano Bantam Curado 201 that doesn't get used- EVER.

$200

Email or PM and I will send you better photos.

Thanks,
Edward

I also have a green one, non-BSF model that I would sell (I own 3 of them).

I've heard good things about those reels. I picked up the very smallest size at a yard sale for $5, but it only holds about 80 feet of line, so I have no idea what to do with it. That one looks near perfect, but I reel bait casters right handed, or wrong handed as some would say.

I bought a 100 and a 200 on Ebay because they were the craze years ago after Herzog wrote about them. While they are nice reels, I never saw the benefit over the newer reels and I prefer a thumb bar release and the new super stopper anti reverse as opposed to all the slop in the handle and the fact that the push button is on the side.

But I suppose if it was a right hand reel and about $100 less, I would be all over this.

These reals are sick! I have a few that I use for steelhead fishing! Direct drive fishing is a blast!
